Plastic Surgery
Plastic surgeons with the University of Missouri Health Care perform reconstructive surgery to correct birth defects and defects associated with disease or trauma. They also perform aesthetic or cosmetic surgery and have a special interest in hand reconstruction and craniofacial surgery. Services include:
- Breast augmentation, reduction, mastopexy and reconstruction
- Body contouring, including liposuction, abdominoplasty and other body contouring procedures
- Facial rejuvenation: facelift, eyelid lift, brow lift, and neck lift
- Craniofacial surgery, pediatric plastic surgery including cleft lip and palate
- Facial revision, including rhinoplasty, rhytidectomy and blepharoplasty
- Hand reconstruction, including digit and hand reattachments
- Maxillofacial surgery
- Microsurgery, including free-tissue transfer
