Trauma Surgery (OARS File#: 070261)

Description

The Division of General Surgery at the University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor to work in the area of Trauma and Critical Care Surgery. The successful candidate should be eligible to sit for the examinations of the American Board of General Surgery or be board certified. Advanced fellowship training and/or specialization interests in trauma/critical care are desired. Candidates should have demonstrated qualifications in clinical practice, teaching, and research. There is a strong emphasis on teaching medical students and surgical residents. The Division of General Surgery supervises a fully accredited residency training program, a Level I Trauma Center, the George Peak Memorial Burn Unit, and a dedicated Surgical Critical Care Center.
