Urologic Surgery
Urologists with the University of Missouri Health Care maintain special interests in kidney transplants, urologic oncology, the neuropathic bladder, stones and pediatric urology. Infertile men and their spouses are seen in a joint setting with gynecologic infertility specialists. State-of-the-art clinical laboratories in urodynamics and andrology, including sperm-banking services and intracytoplasmic sperm injection, are offered. Services include:
- Diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence
- Kidney transplantation
- Surgical treatment of testis tumors
- Treatment of bladder cancer
- Treatment of kidney stones, including percutaneous nephrostolithotomy, ureteroscopy and extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy
- Electroejaculation for emission failure or spinal cord injury
- Treatment of impotence and infertility
- Pediatric urology - treatment for congenital obstructive uropathy and vesicoureteral reflux and surgical correction of hypospadias
